The foundation for my training comes primarily from house and hip-hop. I start my classes with follow-along exercises in these styles to increase body awareness and control. Then I incorporate across-the-floor drills to take these movements and travel with them.

I teach fast. People take my class for the push and the high level of difficulty. My goal for my students is to increate their choreography retention. You cannot learn to pick up choreography faster if it is always taught at a slow pace. My choreography is characterized by sharp lines and quick movements.

For my students that take me more frequently (or in private sessions), we analyze class videos. I go through frame by frame to look closely at what needs to be improved. Examining these problems helps dancers become more detail-oriented.
